ast week I discovered my diabetes and I was really sad about it. I think I can't go to parties anymore and I'll be sick for the rest of my life. I know that many teens have the same problem. Could you give me some suggestions and tips?

BorrarChris, it's not that bad , you should understand you can go to parties and have a good time with friends and family, that means you won´t be sick in the rest of your life, you only have to be aware of what you eat, i'm sure that your family and friends will support you. Remember that a lot of teens have that problem, i'm sure you will get over it .
ResponderBorrarYou can problably go to parties, but you should be careful of what you eat, bring your insuline dosis with you everywhere and notify someone that you are diabetic
ResponderBorrarChris, you can go to parties and have fun, you just have to take care of what you eat, there are many people who have diabetes but still have fun, there are many things you can continue to eat even though having diabetes.
ResponderBorrarHi Chris,
ResponderBorrarI know you're sad because you have diabetes, you don't have to worry about that. You can go to parties and get fun with you friends, the diabetes won't do anything in this case, but you mustn't eat (in exces) any candy, chocolate, or something like that. If you eat something with sugar, you will hurt yourself. So be carfully with that. I hope my suggestions helped you. Go and get fun with friends! Don't worry!
See you soon,
Lucas.

ResponderBorrarHey Chris,
ResponderBorrarIt’s kind of overwhelming to know that you’ll be conditioned to be living a different life because of your body. But that hasn’t to be a problem, with a bit of effort and medical tracking you can live a normal life, like everyone else! The medicine is a very important outlay in all diabetic people’s life. I reccomend you to find some subsidy from de government. Good luck!

Don't think like that, you can still go to parties but you will have to take your own food, there will always be people to help if you need something, enjoy life!
